Take the Lead

With hYPe, you’ll have opportunities for career development through heightened exposure to Gwinnett’s existing business leaders. You’ll have opportunities for community involvement as you get to know community leaders and learn about local organizations working to give back to Gwinnett. And finally, you’ll have opportunities for personal fulfillment, developing relationships with other young professionals of like interests!

A community’s greatest asset is its talented, qualified workforce of young professionals. Gwinnett is already home to one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing clusters of young professionals (college-educated workers in their 20s and 30s) and hYPe’s goal is to keep it that way.

To achieve this, hYPe will be providing several key opportunities for young professionals to take an active role in its success. Put your involvement in hYPerdrive and email us if you are interested in participating in any one of our future work crews and make your mark on Gwinnett. Your information will be collected, and as the organization continues to evolve, communication for upcoming meetings and gatherings for these groups will be sent to you:

hYPe Officers
  • Rush Chairs — To actively identify and generate membership to grow the organization and attending events to meet-n-greet those new members and welcome them to the organization.
  • Movers and Shakers — To identify, register and manage young professional involvement in community-related and charitable events and functions.
  • College Corps — To develop strategies to promote hYPe and Gwinnett to local college and university students.
  • Deal Makers — To plan, schedule and execute events for hYPe including working with local establishments to generate “young professional special deals” on certain nights or weekends.
