A community’s greatest asset is its talented, qualified workforce of young professionals. Gwinnett is already home to one of the nation’s largest and fastest growing clusters of young professionals (college-educated workers in their 20s and 30s) and hYPe’s goal is to keep it that way.
To achieve this, hYPe will be providing several key opportunities for young professionals to take an active role in its success. A Community Investment Volunteer represents United Way and the community by participating on investment committees who review and assess program applications of partner agencies as well as conduct agency site visits in Gwinnett and/or North Fulton. Based on the review, assessment, and site visit, volunteers develop sound funding recommendations for the program applicants. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the needs of the community and the services being provided to fill those needs, while giving back to our community. Volunteers must be available for the training, site visits, and wrap up meeting.- Training - Friday February 26th - 8am-noon
- Site Visits - Mid March - April
- Wrap up Meeting - April 23rd - 8am - noon

October 1-2, 2010! Our planning meetings will take place on the second Thursday of every month 3:30pm. First planning meeting will take place on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at CEO Business Centers in Lawrenceville.
